THE FATHER STILL RUNS
Father’s Day Message • Bro. Kevin Marsh • Luke 15:11‑32
In this Father’s Day message, we explore the Parable of the Prodigal Son, revealing it as the story of two lost sons and one loving, pursuing Father.
The younger son’s rebellion led him far from home, yet the Father’s compassion broke every cultural boundary — running to meet him, restoring him with grace and love. The older son’s resentment showed that distance from God can exist even within obedience, but the Father pursued him too.
Through both sons, we see a picture of God’s heart: grace that runs toward the lost, whether rebellious or self‑righteous.
Two thousand years later, the message still stands — the Father still runs, offering forgiveness, restoration, and a call to come home.
